Very good hotel, very supportive staff. As a vegetarian this is one of the best place to be in. Breakfast is good. The hotel has wired internet connection in each room (i prefer it to hotels claiming WiFi connectivity with too low range). I suggest you to try the Restaurant Taj on the 3rd floor in the adjacent Lido center.... More

I stayed two nights at the hotel at their Executive Floor. In fact the rooms are just OK and the hotel overall seems to be already a bit old and might need some renovations. The lunch at the all day dining buffet restaurant is overpriced and quite bad. Better skip since there are much better places close by. The GYM... More

The Metropark is a fine western style hotel. Most of the staff, especially the front desk is fluent in English and they were very helpful. The rooms are large and clean and offer an in room safe, hot water pot, for tea or coffee, refrigerator and of course the mini bar. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is large... More

I like the Lido, It is a nice place to hang out. There are great bars, shops and I heard a bowling alley but did not see that - It is like a small village in the place. I was told there were some Beijing HISO people there TV stars etc - unfortunately I did not recognize them and I... More

I stayed in this great hotel with my wife in early November for 5 nights. Not speaking Chinese, we felt a little vulnerable about how we would get along. We needn't have worried! The staff couldn't do enough to ensure that we were being looked after, and that included help on getting around. The rooms were immaculate and the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed here for 10 nights on a business trip with a few extra days tacked on for sight seeing and we were very pleased with the hotel, for the most part. We got an executive room which was worth the extra $. It includes a very full continental breakfast, coffee and tea and snacks all day... More

We stayed here with a large group earlier this month. The rooms are fine -- nothing special, but nothing wrong with them. The location is OK. They have a good deal of shopping as part of the hotel complex. Most of it is rather high/over priced, but having access to a Watson's (small drugstore) and Starbucks can come in handy.... More

I stayed here last week & feel neutral about it. As previous reviewers have mentioned, this is an out-dated hotel, hence the comments they made. The good thing going for this place is that they have a new high-rise block being built next door & I guess it should be up & running next year. Back to the present (&... More

Spent 4 nights at hotel with tour group. Excellent service from staff. Any problem we had was taken care of immediately and efficiently. Most staff spoke English. Free wi-fi in lobby but not in rooms. Nice arcade of shops in hotel including Starbucks and Baskin Robbins. Rooms were clean and well kept. Not in center but easy access to airport... More

Our BA flight was delayed by a day, we had the joy of being sent to this hotel...a hotel with miles of corridors and endless rooms...seems to be a hotel designated for western organised tours. Cleanliness ok, rooms ok but with a wired smell. Service terrible, the 2 we were servered by at the reception seemed to be hating their... More
