Situated in the Hutong-area and a perfect hotel for a short visit in Beijing. Small but nice rooms - clean and with nice details. Nice small gardens inside the building - fantastic with trees left here! Quiet, you can't belive that you are in the middle of a bigbig city - but this is also the charm with the Hutong-area.... We planned to stay three nights and we ended staying 5. The staff is incredible, the girls in the front desk: Mary, Kerry, the drivers, everybody were very helpful, kind and they speak very good english, so it's easy to comunicate. We went to Mutianyu (Great Wall) and one of the drivers took just the two of us there (me... More

If you are in Beijing for the first time. Pls do stay in a hutong. Yes I know for the price you can get more comfort and luxury in a hotel but the experience in a hutong is priceless. Sihe is seriously about 5-10 mins walk to the subway, Dongsi. Very convenient and I walked in the cold winter. Room... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Sihe hotel for three nights . Although I had carefully researched all the hotels we stayed at during our China trip I was a little bit concerned about the area when we drove into the road. I should not have worried as it was very safe to walk up and down during the... More

We took a driver provided by the Hotel to go to the Great Wall. The driver was totally unsafe and didn't know how to go to the Great Wall! we lost 2 hours! this is just unacceptable. For the rooms: the mattress is very hard and the bathroom not convenient with a limited amount of hot water! The breakfast is... More

My husband and I stayed at the Beijing Sihe hotel for a week this April. Because we had booked ourselves for several nights, we got free airport pick-ups (I arrived a night earlier than he did so we needed 2 separate pick-ups. I was upgraded to an Executive Room the first night, though I had booked just a Standard room).... More

Although difficult to find at first (taxi drivers won't know where it is), this is a great place to stay in central Beijing. The style is more suited to Westerners - it is rather lovely to stay in an old hutong, but with the luxury of one's own sitting room, lovely beds, and modern bathrooms. Above all, it is great... Our family spent six nights at the Beijing Sihe in March 2013, and we loved this hotel! The room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean, and the staff at the hotel was so kind and helpful. I really felt like the staff worked hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. For instance, I asked the woman at the... More
