Do not trust this hostel. On hostelworld they specifically mention that they are only in the Mirador Mansion. This is NOT true. We were moved over to the Chungking Mansion, after being forced to pay in full in cash for 4 nights. The building is swarming with illegal immigrants who harass you to buy things and you have to walk with your hands on your valuables the whole time.

The accommodations themselves: The washroom is a small room with a toilet and sink, and a shower head above the toilet. You sit on the toilet while showering yourself. The bed.... I woke up with bugs crawling on me. And the air conditioning didn't work half the time.

And... on our 3rd night, Interpol checked all our passports and forced us to take the 13 flights of stairs up. We later learned that they were raiding the building for al Qaeda operatives looking to plot something at the Beijing Olympics.
