The room was quite small and a bit tired, but clean. The staff is very friendly. There is a huge amount of shopping possibilities nearby and also the Victoria Park is close. The pub / sports bar at the basement was really nice. However, I recommend you to have a drink at the top floor bar that has magnificent views.... more

this is our second stay here, this time on the club floor. first thing we notice is the room is slightly bigger especially the bathroom. not flashy but still a good 4 star hotel. furniture and fitting starting to look tired. apparently the club floor has been re-furbished, hard to tell cause the hotel choice of furniture is already looking... more

Highly recommend this one especially if you can get a Bay side view which we had. The buffet breakfast is well worth the value and sets you up for the day....honestly! Hotel is close by to main subway terminal, shopping, parks and stuff. The bar downstairs is very nice, good bar snacks but obviously a world away of what Hongkong... more

We stayed over for 2 nights at The Excelsior. Generally the hotel is in a good location, within 3mins from Causeway MTR. Trams are also conveniently located along the main road and they are definitely a cheap way of getting to central. Major departmental store Sogo is round the corner as well.
