Nanjing is a wonderful home town city with wide boulevards flanked by sycamore trees. The Ramada hotel is well located at the base of the Hunan road, which is filled with shops and restaurants. I recently stayed in this hotel. We were accommodated on the Club Floor after being told that all the non-smoking floors were full. The room was clean and tidy. ok, Nanjing is not the best spot on earth, but I had expected a little bit more for a former capital! the ramada hotel is bad...it took us for ever to check in (even with a chinese speaking guide), the room smelt bad (the airco) and the view was bad.
