The Sultan used to be The Hilton and it does have that chainy feel to it. The staff were friendly enough, and approachable, the restaurants were not bad, and there was a good choice. The Sultan is the former Hilton Hotel in Jakarta, but in my opinion, and at least on the Executive floor of the Lagoon Tower, the standards of service are much better than they would have been at the Hilton.
