The hotel is much too ostentatious ...large lobby and big fancy restaurants. The construction standards are very bad and I actually was afraid to sit under any of the giant chandeliers! I am a Japanese business man, and travelled overseas often especially South East Asia. Hotel Mulia Senayan is the best hotel so far. The price is reasonable, and the room is just amazing..... We stopped at the Mulia before flying back to UK. The room was excellent - with a huge bath! The breakfast was probably the best we had in Indonesia - with a large selection of different cuisines. Very comfortable bed. Excellent pool area with lots of loungers and nice big towels. more
