The only great experience about this property is that you have to take a Mark and Venus corner suite and preferably on your right side. And on a higher floor The view from the room is terrific in the night and the spacious room and bathrooms give an enhanced feelings. The maintenance is poor so most of the rooms have... more

I liked this place. The rooms were big and dark with the curtains drawn (very important after a long flight). The lobby was nice and the service was good. There is a small swimming pool, lots of taxis waiting to take you elsewhere and the Ambassador Shopping Mall nearby. I couldn't help but feel that there were hotels closer to... more

An all concrete and glass exterior Manhattan hotel, Jakarta, is very much like an office building, converted hotel. Air-conditioning and lighting is compromised to save money, rather than providing comfort to guests. Air-conditioning is turned off for most sections during the day, and throughout nights. That includes restaurants, coffee shop, and halls. After 10 PM, don’t expect air-conditioning anywhere in... more

Spent 4 nights at the Manhattan hotel. The overall appearance of the lobby, public rooms and guestrooms is great but looking a bit closer its not as smart as it first seems. The food was only so so I got a severe bout of food poisoning after eating a steak at the Central Park restaurant. The Korean food was ok... more

I tagged along with my husband on his business trip and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Staff were friendly and check-in was very quick. We were upgraded to a suite in a smoking room as all the non-smoking rooms were fully-booked. The lobby leading to the rooms smelt fresh and clean, however when we opened the room, we were... more

Been there twice, once last year when the hotel was still new, and the last one couple weeks ago. I stayed there for 2 weeks. Loved the hotel, maybe because it is relatively new. The staffs are great and helpful. The room is very clean and modern. The rate is very reasonable. I don't mind going back there again even... more

I took a team of 12 sports people there because we were having a competition in Jakarta, and I just want to let you all know that it was just the best hotel and service that I have ever experienced anywhere in the world, and I would reccommend it to anyone who is going to Jakarta for holiday or business.... more

I stayed in this hotel for 14 days, I thought the service and rooms were excellent. I enjoyed staying here during my holiday trip as it's near various local malls and are quite convenient to walk. I also had no problems going to the Australian Embassy when I needed to renew my passport as it is practically walking distances to... more

I stayed at the Manhattan Hotel in early March, when we had a business function that was held here. It is in the Kuningan/Casablanca embassy district of the Golden Triangle in Jakarta, just a city block from the Mall Ambassador, and virtually opposite the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels. I find it hard to see what the previous reviewers... more
