My friends and I stayed in the Mulligan Golf Hotel (which is part of the Fairways and Blue Waters Resort) from March 27 - 29, 2007. We stayed because a friend's brother gave us the chance to use his timeshare there in Fairways and Blue Waters.
The hotel was lovely and quiet. The entire hotel was peaceful. There were no crowds there (perhaps it was before the start of the Holy Week) in the hotel. It's because it seems a bit exclusive. Though we were told that the Mulligan Golf Hotel has been opened to the public.
The beds were firm and there was a small kitchenette--with kitchen sink, coffee maker, cups and drinking glasses; though no microwave oven or stove. There was no bath tub but the shower stall was adequate. There was no great view from the balcony of the room. Just the road towards the main club house (where the front desk is located).
