The owner was kind enough to upgrade my accommodation from a Kanaway Villa to the more spacious Habagat Villa. Overall, the experience was great. Things I loved about Hoyohoy are: 1. Beautiful landscaping and architecture 2. Villas have a good view of the ocean 3. Great service. The owner herself ensured that my stay went well. 4. The staff was... More

OVERVIEW This charming and quaint hotel stems from the loveliest lady boss. It's such a pleasure to know her --- that she grew up in Bantayan, strived for a living overseas, and is back to help the people living in Bantayan. When you are at the hotel, you can witness the happy and close-knit atmosphere amongst the staff and with... More

Hoyohoy means "windy" or "breezes" in the local language, I'm told. Located on the island of Bantayan off Cebu's northern tip this has fast become my dream destination: after all what's not to like when there is the beautiful sea, spectacular daily sunrise and great sunset colors, gourmet food (though best to ask for Chef Emily to prepare special dishes)... There are only 9 villas in the entire resort so there will never be a huge throng. Decor looks like it is home rather than a hotel. Service is attentive. Comfortable but not luxurious. I would go back. Definitely.

I was here long time ago in Hoyohoy Villas & Resort with my best friend and production team. Well, it was long time ago but let me just share with you my experience. The owner Ms. Inday Rimaz is really nice, accommodating and friendly. She made sure that all our needs were provided. One thing that I like most here... More

This resort is very small and homely. The staff were very friendly and really is very willing to help you. The food is great however some are not readily available but its good otherwise. The beach is not so nerve wrackingly amazing because they didnt have a shoreline. They are also situatuated near a small port so you better ready... More

Hoyohoy was a little expensive, but as we were there during the peak season, that was to be expected. Most of the other beaches were crowded, but the area in front of Hoyohoy was not. Much of the sand had eroded, so we had to jump into the water, and step up onto sand bags to climb back up onto... More

We came to Hoyohoy Villas after an early wake up time. We took the earliest Cebu Pacific flight from Manila arriving at Mactan International Airport 6am. We hailed a white taxi (from the arrivals exit gate cross, the street and go up the stairs to your right) and asked the driver to drop us off at Cebu's North Bus Terminal.... More

I stayed there for 2 nights in September. My girlfriend and I were the only guests, and we were treated like royalty. Very very friendly and accomodating staff, a little pricey, but we went in low season so prices were almost cut in half. The only knock on the place is the location. The beach is pretty poor, dirty. But... More

if you have the misfortune of ending up on Bantayan (the dirtiest and least exciting of the visayan islands that we visited) then make your stay worthwhile by sleeping at the hoyohoy villas. they really are a dream, beautiful little homes on stilts built around a mini pool looking out to the sea. the rooms are very tastefully done, roomy...
