I would agree with what most people have said about this hotel. It's in a great location, nice staff, nice lobby - all of which you would expect from a decent hotel in Singapore. Once thing to be wary of is since it is an older hotel, some of the rooms have connecting doors, including the one I stayed in.... more

The hotel offers great location, right in the middle of Orchard and next to Metro station. Don't eat at the hotel though...Singapore offers great food at very reasonable prices so there is no need to pay a fortune in the hotel's restaurant. more

Nearby construction on two sides makes a lot of noise at the pool and inside some rooms. 5th floor pool gets afternoon sun and has nice food & drink services, without screaming kids.
