We stayed here as our last stop on a round the world trip. We stayed in the Meritus club suites at the hotel and it was absolutely awesome. The room was fine and service was good. What stood out was that it is "attached" to a shopping center 9not particularly upscale) and the place was hopping! A younger crowd, under 30, which was OK...just a lot of people enjoying themselves. Just stayed overnight to board a cruise. more

I booked directly with the hotel and got the weekend rate of 240 Singapore dollars, inclusive of breakfast for two, late checkout and a 30 dollar voucher to be used at any of the hotel's restaurants. We got a room on the 9th floor, which was clean and well kept, but it is obvious that it has seen better days.... more

As with all 4 to 5 star hotels in asia it's pretty hard getting a bad one. No negatives at all shop around all sites for prices, we paid $220 Aus. Saw it on some sites at $350+ more

Great service and wonderful staff characterised this hotel. On arrival you get film star treatment and although we were only there for a day, en route to Australia, our memories of this hotel are great. It is well located and about 30% of the price of Raffles without all the snobbery! We will go back!! more
