This hotel is positioned above a pretty awful shopping mall at the end of the Orchard Road. The overall location is good and you are close to the designer shopping heaven that Orchard Road is world famous for. The Concorde is well located on Orchard Rd and there are subway stations nearby to make getting around easy. The staff are polite and appear to be trying hard to please everyone. The Hotel Gym was not operational. They don't even have a Wifi connection in hotel. These days most hotels provide free of cost Wifi. Okay I took paid internet 24 SGD per day. The Concord Hotel is a friendly, clean hotel where nothing is too much of a problem for the staff. Beds and pillows are comfortable. We were three fussy elderly women who were given every assistance without having to ask for either info or help and were advised of tour desk etc .
