We booked this hotel via internet due to its convenient location and reputation. Yet, I am disappointed. Despite the great location (5 min. walk to MRT, 3 min. to shopping center and local market), we did not get a warm welcome from front desk staff. I only stayed here for a night with someone as i needed to leave for Batam Island early next morning. Didn't get to enjoy the hotel facilities much but overall a comfortable stay i say. A nicely situated hotel near clubbing and dining areas. more

Near to the financial hub at Tanjong Pagar. Good connectivity of teh MRT(trains) to Raffel and other areas. Not much Indian Food. But one can find that near to the place just ask the reception more

Forget breakfast it is 3 star, burnt greasy bacon, chicken nuggets labled as sausages, no pork sausages, despite having bacon ( so the no pork excuse does not fly) no yoghurts, and juice that tastes like water. This was our third visit to Singapore our last was visit ten years ago but this our frist with our 2 year old son Beautiful city, charming people amazing shopping, superb food! you can smoke in the rooms if you wish - which for me was a bonus. located amongst some great local eateries as well as western resteraunts. has a great pool on the 6th floor - a must for those hot singapore days. a 2 minute walk to the subway and part of a shopping plaza as well. more

You have it quite right that Singapore is a place to explore and not be too holed up in any room! Food around the area is undoubtedly a real plus which most travellers tend to miss out on. We have tried to highlight that all the glories of old Chinatown and hawker fare is just a walk down the road...
We got married at Amara last year.. Free 1 night complimentary stay.. Beautiful rooms, service was ok.. Breakfast not much choices.. Overall is still good.. more
