This was our first hotel in South-East Asia. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with computer use in the loby. Room was small but contained everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. Lovely bed linen, changd each day. Large window seat most useful. Small circular swimming pool with waterfall feature giving good views towards Clarke Quay which was a convenient... more

My wife and I stayed at the RQH for 5 nights in early October at the suggestion of our travel agent. On arrival at 8 pm we were met with a smile and were quickly checked in to our room on the top floor (10th). While the room was small it was clean, tidy and had all the basics. Tea/coffee/fridge/tv/room... more

I took one look at the room and walked out. The room was the tiniest hotel room I have ever encountered, It smelt so dank, the ceiling was covered in mould and wall paper was hanging off the walls, Bathroom minute with nasty cheap plastic mug and no other amenties. When I pointed this out to the staff they were... more

I've unfortunately stayed at this building twice. The 1st time was because I was still a student and was finding a cheap place with a good location to stay. After that, I reminded myself time and again not to ever come back to this place. However, in January 09 . . my company was trying to cut cost and booked... more

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on business. Its quite reasonably priced by Singapore standards. But as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". Its obviously quite an old hotel with dated and not so clean decor and furnishings. But the big eye opener is the size of the rooms. The room was easily the smallest hotel... more

this hotel is in an excellent location....very close to the quays for night time dining. The staff are very polite, they provide breakfast and newspapers. This is a small hotel and the price is ok. However the rooms are absolutely tiny. They did however give me a bigger room when I requested one. Overall very good location and friendly staff. more

Debjani Gupta Mumbai, India During our last trip to Singapore, we stayed here. The hotel room was tiny and the bathroom was so small that your bums would touch the walls if you even breath loudly. The room was quite clean. The good thing was the location....it was just a 5 min walk from clark quay and boat quay. The... more

A very nice hotel with a calm and quite surroundings, situated at the shore of quite river flowing across Singapore. The only flaw being VERY SMALL ROOMS and the same breakfast daily. The staff is also not so friendly except a few. The river side restaurant serves good snacks till late in the night. more

We booked this hotel because it looked very nice on the internet, the pictures are very deceiving! The room was extremely small, dirty, cleaners refused to clean the room. We had to pay for an extra night because we checked in at 10am but we were told that there's no cleaning service on the day! so why we had to... more
