Stayed here only because of its close proximity to Mustaffa as the family wanted to shop. The hotel has seen better days for sure. At the moment it resembles those cheap lodges you find near railway stations in India.. Absolutely not worth the money you pay as the place is dirty and unkept and definitely needs urgent repairs and maintenance. Service?well forget about it. Stay here at your own risk.

This hotel is located not far away from the MRT station Farrer Park. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. The room is not small. The bed is comfortable. There is no noise at nighttime. The price is reasonable.

Located right next to a bus stop and a 5-minute walk from a MRT station, this budget hotel screams value. Two restaurants right at the ground floor of the premises and a very famous Indian restaurant (A2B) within 3 minutes walk away, good food is very close by. Mustafa centra is a 5-minute walk. A no-frills, impeccably clean hotel in a great location - excellent value for money. We stayed there for 9 nights and every morning the cleaning team was prompt to leave our room blushing clean. My request for extra towels were immediately taken care of and seen through all 9 days. 24-hour hot water and air-conditioning were top-notch. Special shout-out to Ms Pam and Richard at the front desk who gave us wonderful tips about their country and made us feel right at home. The room cleaning persons (sorry, I missed taking their names) did a fabulous job every single day! I was travelling with 2 young kids and had requested a room on a higher floor with a double bed. They were able to accommodate me on their 7th floor (not noisy at night) but could provide me with only twin beds. This was a minor blip in the otherwise exceptional service provided my the hotel. Rooms near the lift tend to be a bit noisy throughout the day. Room # 710 was great - 7th floor and far from the lift. I'd recommend this place again to anyone looking for a no-frills budget hotel in a great location.

Very close to the MRT and right across a bus stop. It is also in the heart of Little India, and it a treat walking around the hotel. The amenities need some updating, but overall, it is worth the price.

I booked this hotel from Agoda and it looked ok in the pictures but when I checked in, found that the room is not well maintained. Doesn't look modern at all. Can see cracks on the walls. They don't even give you basic amenities like bottled water, toiletries etc. Having spent about $290 AUD for 3 nights, I think it is a rip off. Would've been better spending a bit more. The only plus point I see is it is right next to the Serangoon road bus stop and in the heart of little India. You will have lots of food options and is near to the MRT. Overall I'd recommend not to go for it as you will not get the level of customer service you'd expect for the dollars you spend.

I have just ended up a 7 days family tour with my 10 months baby and wife. I have booked through agoda 20 days earlier demanding a large bed, non smoking high floor room. In the time of check in they said that they will give us a room with 2 small bed. I was shocked and asked how I will sleep with a infant at night ? They just adjust 2 beds and gave a large bed room next day. The room 209 was so smelly and shower was not working properly. Again I asked for help but they dont care. Front desk indian guy behave rudely and said he will check later. Because of my family I have kept quiet. Only the location is good but other all things are bad . This is not the standard of a singapore hotel. Can get lot of hotels nearby with good service. Family visit, avoid this hotel.

First of all our Singapore trip was whimsically decided and influenced by my brother-in-law. He helped us to purchase air ticket at a discounted price. After that we realized that accommodation at Singapore is pretty expensive and it’s useless to compare with Bangkok. So, our search process started keeping in mind our budget. But soon we realized that rooms at different hotels around our budget are quickly booked like blink of eyes. We two families with seven members preferred to stay at one place and we also had a bit separate level of budget for accommodation. Every-time we found a new hotel we immediately checked feedback on it at TripAdvisor. At last we blindly choose and booked Broadway Hotel at Serangon Road. We checked in on August 8 and our feedback is as follows: What we liked- ✓First look positive; ✓Front desk staff very polite and helpful; ✓Rooms - we booked two rooms for four adults. One with a large bed is smaller than the other with two single beds. But reasonable space compared to our perception about room size in Singapore. ✓Room service - reasonable ✓Cleanliness- good ✓Tea/coffee - 2 sachets tea and 2 sachets coffee with electric kettle and cup plate. ✓Safe inside the wardrobe ✓Elevator - spacous and well maintained ✓Location - excellent. Right on the Little India street. Two Indian food restaurants in the same boundary. ✓Communication - Bus stop just in front of the hotel. Ferrer MRT and Little India MRT are on two sides of the hotel and around 5 minutes walking distance. ✓Shops selling discounted items are on both sides of the hotel. Mustafa center is just few minutes walk. ✓Food- Bangladeshis and Indians will never feel home sick. perception about room size in Singapore. > abandoned choice of their cuisine from breakfast to dinner. Besides Tekka Center with a big food court with variety of South Wast Asian cuisine is just 5 minutes walk and on the way to Little India MRT station and on the same side of the hotel. >Devotees- Sri Veeramakaliamman temple is just few steps from the hotel and in the same side of the street. So, the Broadway Hotel is in an ideal location for shopping, moving around, and food. What we didn’t like- >Cockroaches- not in big numbers but it’s one of our concerns. Old building with floor carpets and without proper maintenance led to multiplication of roach populations. >Indifferent attitude - after three nights one of our members moved to another country and remaining 3 of us switched to a little bigger 3-bed room. Regular check-out time is 12 noon. But from early morning front desk started pushing us to leave two rooms and move to the new one. So we’d to rush for packing. We’re in a room of 3 persons but amenities like shower towels, hand towels, tea and coffee and cups and glasses are for 2 persons. We reported immediately but no action. We thought things will be added on the day 2, but remain unchanged. We informed front desk but they are indifferent. This was our biggest surprise. Otherwise and overall we’re pretty satisfied staying at Broadway Hotel. It’ll be unfair if I don’t acknowledge that on day 4 they gave us 2 SGD 10 gift food coupon. We redeemed it at the Delhi Restaurant during lunch in that day with sumptuous Indian food. Summary: it’s not a budget hotel but reasonably priced compared to its superb location and overall good condition, maintenance, and service. Advise: Carry 3 flat pin travel adapter. Rooms have only two power points and if you don’t carry you’ll have to buy that from the nearest shops.

We recently visited Singapore for 5 days with family and decided to book this hotel because of the location at Sarangoon Road, Little India. But we were appalled at the service and standards for a Singapore Hotel. Though the location was perfect other things were either passable or down right appalling! An iron was requested on 2 different occasion but it fell on deft ears or they said it's not available. I think they have 01 Iron and a board for the whole hotel. The toilet sink was leaking and the beds were small and very uncomfortable! Staff were on low wages because they kept to themselves when dealing with customers or in their hearts they knew their shortcomings and felt guilty to even ask how was our stay. Wifi was also difficult to connect on our first 2 days. I regret that I booked this place and had to bring my family to this lowly place but I had already booked in advance and I thought of the location only. A good lesson for me too for not reading any reviews regarding this hotel. I also booked this hotel because my family requested attached bathrooms so this hotel had my basic requirements but it failed to meet our expectations as a Singapore Hotel! Pathetic!
