Went there with my parents today for lunch. We ordered curry fish head, rendang beef and chap chai. We enjoyed all the dishes, especially the rendang beef, which was tasty with just the right amount of spices. The fish was fresh and there were generous portions of ladyfingers and brinjal. Highly recommended.

As a solo backpacker and a first time visitor of Singapore, I would recommend this hostel. The place is "homy" like those college dorms in the movies. I had a great time at this place, the staff were always helpful and had heaps of local knowledge, it's an interesting area to explore with lots of good places to eat and the breakfast is great, thanks for the extra muesli and fruit Tony!
