We stayed at this hotel in Jan '09 for 3 nights. We booked via the internet and got an email confirmation. It was simple. It all comes down to what we expect. This is a basic hotel. Very good as per Singaporean standards. The rooms are neat and clean, quite spacious. Good air con, our was right next to the... more

We stayed in the S.E.A Hotel for about 10 nights. Price including breakfast (continental or local vegetarian) Location very near all attractions, like ´Little India', "Arab Street", Hadj Lane, Bugis Junction, Raffles, Chijmes, Singapore flyer, MRT, Suntec Towers Fountain, busses to Malaysia (Queens Street or Lavender Street) Food center directly across the street, two temples nearby. Kind staff, Internet for... more

As usual , let's make it short : Pros: -Excellent Location -Very affordable -Nice Staff -Right next to Budhist Temple! Cons: - Toilet is very small (Shower area is small) -Noisy during the day, but hey, you are in the heart of Bugis Street, near malls temples and good food court. -The breakfast is lame, just Yellow Lipton tea with... more

I stayed here for 12 nights in September 2009. Reservation was simply and straight forward, just simply emailed the hotel with my requirements which they confirmed within a couple of hours. I stayed in a Superior room overlooking the street for SGD100 per night, which is quite reasonable. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean, although the air... more

I've stayed at this hotel thrice and has always been at the top of my list for a budget stay in Singapore. The room is very clean, staff service is so-so, vegetarian breakfast can be skipped, and it's really close to MRT station (about 7 minutes walk to Bugis MRT), Bugis Junction, and other amenities. In sum of my 3... more

These points are for the superior room we were upgraded to from a standard room since we were staying for 5 nights. Had to get a good budget hotel since we were staying so long. The good: 1. Clean 2. Fresh, clean smelling, pillows, bedsheets and towels 3. Reasonably big room 4. Very cold aircon 5. Very near to Bugis... more

Having never been to Singapore, it was a bit of a stab in the dark as to where to stay. I think I found this place in a travel book. We didn't mind it being in a pedestrian-only street as we were walking and getting the train everywhere anyway. It's close to the art gallery (which is really good), and... more

I booked this hotel based on recommendations from a forum I frequent. I have stayed in other hotels in Singapore before but since we were on a budget (traveling to 5 countries in Asia) for this trip, I figured it would be worth the risk. The booking itself was convenient and hassle-free. I just emailed the hotel, booked our stay,... more

Like i said, just to spend the night. Rooms are small, two beds, ok bath. a small tv high up on the wall. No refridgerator. The room overlooks a wall. Non existant room service. You have to carry your own bags. The road is some distance away. Cars stop about 200m from the hotel and you will have to haul... more
