Travel agent in Bariloche, Argentina, recommended this hotel for a one night stay after a Lakes Crossing tour (Argentina to Chile via boats and buses). Hotel web site showed a dated but okay basic room; NOT SO. Actual rooms (we had 2) had 2 single small beds with 5-inch mattresses, no mattress pad (though sheets were clean), a bathroom with bare fluorescent bulbs & wires and a 2 ft x 2ft shower enclosed by a curtain (bathroom flooded unavoidably from shower)ing. Noisy! Stuffy but could not leave window open- too easy for someone to get in. Bedspreads were stained and carpeting was badly stained & threadbare. Prepaid and arrived very late so was stuck. If you do the Lakes Crossing tour, stay in Puerto Varas, a picturesque little town & do not go all the way to Puerto Montt, a regular Chilean city, pop. 200,000. more
