Dear Trip Advisor

My Trip to South America went great in almost all respects.But I want to report a problem in Santiago, Chile.This is regarding the hotel I stayed "CAP DUCAL" in Providencia-Santiago,Chile.
I was said is better to keep my valuables in the hotel's safe within my room.So I left most of my money there.On March 21 at night, coming back from a full day tour I counted my money in the safe ( as I did every night and I kept an accurate account on it) and I found stolen $100 USD.I complained but nothing happened,probably the thief was the mate or some receptionist,they knew that I will be away the whole day and that I am leaving next day very early morning to the airport at 5:45 am.The safe was with a key ,but as I heard down there even with combination can be opened by hotel people. I had asked hotel and they told me that was the only key for the safe I was holding, obviousle they lied ,they had another one.So I lost $100
