We arrived at this hotel at three in the morning (having previously advised the hotel of our arrival ttime) to find the doors locked and after fifteem minutes of knocking no response. My wife and I stayed for three night and enjoyed the hotel whilst there, the bar and restaraunt downstairs was very good with very friendly staff. They do not seem to have to much tourist information so it would be better to do that research beforehand if required. more

You walk into the main reception to be met by comforting, homely smells. It's beautiful. The rooms are very clean. The housekeeping staff check at the end of every day that you are happy with everything. Breakfast was very poor. I had two evening meals which were very over priced and not good. The room was just OK nothing more, the food at breakfast was very poor yet the sandwiches at the snack bar were great, the restaurant food is poor .
