The location is excellent, the rooms are terrible and the services are poor. I understand Panamericana intend to upgrade the rooms, but when. The staff are helpful, and the breakfast was average. The airconditioning was very noisy. Impossible to get any coffee or tea before 7am, No service outside on the patio, in the morning. Reception did assist us with tour... More

The comfort of the hotel is below my expectation, no doubt is very old. The AC cannot be turned off, safe locker is not functioning ( in fact very old fashion too), no shower gel is provided but just soap, no coffee making facility, no kettle for boiling water. Even upon my request, then they went out to buy a... More

Hotel is old. Runned down. Walls are paper like. You can hear everything. Specially in the bathrooms. They are ok in size, but old. Heating came form a cheap split AC unit, nothing else. This hotel in any other city should not be more than 45 USD a night for a double. Santiago is expensive considering Appartment rentals or hotel... More

The double room was a single room with two beds united... not as big as the price suggests... Kind of old hotel... the swimming pool is outdoor which makes it hard to use in the ski season... The reception is not realiable as they didn't gave me a message and don't really helps with information about the city or anything... More

We stayed here (sadly) 3 nights at the end of our 3-week tour of Argentina/Chile with Adventures Abroad. There is only one good thing to say about the hotel: the front desk gave us the name of a department store so we could buy a replacement for my husband's broken suitcase. Otherwise the front desk was inept. My husband tried... More

We stayed at the Providencia Panamericana for a few days before and after a tour to southern Chile. The hotel location is great, room are old fashioned and need refurbishing. Air conditioning is not working properly since it turns off automatically at some time during the night. Breakfast self service is just basic not as usual for a three star... More

We stayed here at the end of a two month trip around middle and southern South America. Service was good, the room was clean and there was no street noise. The restaurant service was good, the food was quite good and well priced. We booked a day trip using the Concierge, and used the provided computers for internet access. All... More

This hotel was much cheaper than the large hotels of the city, and clean, comfortable, and cool. We stayed here twice and both times had great rooms. The breakfast was also better than at most other hotels we stayed at during the trip.

I had to stay overnight and needed to find a cheaper alternative than the airport hotel. So I landed this one, for about half the price of the airport holiday inn. There was a relatively "ok" restaurant on the second floor, although it is nothing special. Other than that the room was small and the staff was somewhat disorganized--although friendly.... More
