I think the bad reviewers stayed somewhere else. I think this is a great boutique hotel, clean updated rooms, nice size, good food, perks like coffee in rooms and free wifi. I really enjoyed my stay, staff was lovely. Use the safe in your room if you are worried about your belongings! That is what it is there for, dummies! More

The area surrounding the hotel is picturesque and memorable - unfortunately my 4 nights there were a different kind of memorable. The place appears to literally be falling apart; my wing lost power a few times over 3 days, 2 nights in a row they managed to lose all water pressure to the rooms, and electronic keys kept failing. The... More

We stayed two nights at the Hotel Bonaparte in August and had a very enjoyable visit. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the city, in Providencia, which is convenient to get to the downtown area. The rooms are comfortable and clean with heating and cooling and extra bedding in the closet. We also had Wi-fi internet access... More

Hotel Bonaparte in Mar de Plata is a small hotel located in a residential area surrounded by hundred year old trees. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will stay here next time I am in Santiago. More

I stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte for 2 nights at the end of a 16 day trip to Chile which included Patagonia and Atacama. The hotel room was small to average sized but clean and comfortable. A 15- 20 minute walk to the closest subway. The breakfast was average and the neighborhood residential. However, the hotel staff was exceptional. I... More

We had a nice stay at Hotel Bonaparte! It is in a great location in Providencia- about a 15 minute walk to the subway. The staff was always ready to help us with whatever we needed, but they were a little too determined to ensure we had received the wake-up calls we requested. Also, there was one day we only... More

We stayed here at the Bonaparte several times over the course of two years without incident. This review would have been one of my most positive experiences in Chilean hotels, THAT IS until $600.00usd was taken from my room. The group of interchange students I am in charge of never lost more than a few small items, Maybe lost or... More

We booked a night in this hotel because we could pay with our frequent flier miles and what a pleasant surprise! The staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed to quite enjoy practicing their English with us even though my husband is Chilean and fluent in Spanish. The patio and pool are beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and... More

I just got into this reviewing for hotels. I stayed here for about a week with some other Honors college students. We were there for a conference with another university in Santiago. Positives- Location- In a great area. It really is local. The hotel is surrounded by a upper class neighborhoods. There are several embassies, Japan and Russia for example,... More
