Staying at Casa Aventura was like staying over night with a relative. Having breakfast and relaxing in the evening around the same table makes it easy to strike up a conversation with other travellers. Casa Aventura is located half way up one of the hills in Valparaiso - a nice medium between the busy plan and quiet hills. I stayed in a double room, but all the rooms are huge with high ceilings - its a coverted house of some kind. The common space is small - just a huge table to sit around... more

We stayed in Casa Adventura for about 10 days and found the staff and owner to be really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with real coffee, very clean and comfortable beds and pillows and the hostel is always kept clean and very cosy. A lovely German run hostel. Big airy, clean rooms. The staff are lovely and there´s a great atmosphere around the place. The free breakfast consists of scrambled egg, fresh bread, fruit, tea, coffee and homemade yummy jam!
