We chose Travellers Inn Hostel because they were very friendly and communicative when we were booking our travel. Both my friend and I were getting in at night (she one night after I), and we liked that they offered airport pick up as we did not want to navigate a new city in the dark. Better yet when we emailed... more

I loved my time at Travelers Inn in Quito. Owners Carlos and Pilar are fantastic hosts and the hostel is more like a beautiful estate than a hostel. I will never stay anywhere else. Breakfasts are huge, rooms are big, the house is gorgeous and safe and the servixe is outstanding. more

I stayed in Traveler's Inn for 3 nights, everything was great. It is a family owned hostel and all the staff is very friendly and nice. Most of them speaks good English, there is absolutely no problem communicate with them. Rooms are nice, I stayed in room 107, everything is clean and shower is good. Hot water comes out the... more

We travel "A LOT" and without a doubt, this is one of the better experiences we've had - ANYWHERE.! Last year we stayed at a major hotel just a couple of blocks from the TRAVELLERS INN and paid almost double and had to put up with cranky staff. At the TRAVELLERS INN, it's a family atmosphere, the staff is truly... more

DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed in Quito as a base to do the Galapagos Islands & the Amazon. We stayed here as we read the reviews and they all sounded pretty good. We stayed here for a few nights orginally and they were moderately pleasant but the rooms were not fantastic, a bit dusty and shower not great. We... more

The staff was great, exemplified by the complimentary tour of the equator monument and the historic district of Quito, and helpful in arranging transportation. Also, they were extremely friendly. The facility is very clean, the breakfast very nice, and the Internet access free. Highly recommended. more

Although Quito can be a bit scary (I witnessed a mugging in the early evening and a friend's handbag was stolen off of her shoulder in daylight), I felt totally safe at the Traveller's Inn at Calle La Pinta and Rio Amazonas. This was a decent neighborhood (2 blocks from the Marriott) and it has a locked gate that is... more

The Amazon Inn is great, mostly due to the service provided by the staff. They pick you up for free at the airport or the bus terminal, and that is appreciated. They often organize cheap day trips within Ecuador. The price is not too high for a hotel so nice-looking. The hotel also has a travel agency so that you... more
