The first time we walked into the Sakti Bed and Breakfast in La Mariscal district of Quito we knew we were home. The owners are lovely, friendly people who will take care of you the whole time you are in Quito. It was such a refreshing feeling to be in the capital of Ecuador and feel so safe and warm in a very beautiful environment in the heart of the city. The front part of the Sakti is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Quito, and during the day Elena and Umberto are busy cooking and serving the customers delicious food and desserts. The back part is the B & B which is surrounded by lovely green gardens with tables and chairs where you can sit all day and read.
