This is a small B&B slightly off the beaten track but, as mentioned in other reviews what really makes it is the service. The staff really cannot do enough. We stayed there on 3 seperate occasions - on arrival in Ecuador, before our trip to Galapagos and at the end of our trip to Ecuador - and the service was... More

We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our trip from the US to Ecuador and 2 nights at the end. The location is 10 to 15 minutes from the Airport via cab in the comfortable and quiter La Floresta neighborhood. It is a safe, close walk to some nice restaurants and a 10 - 15 minute walk to all... We wanted to stay in the historic section of Quito but our travel agent suggested Casa Aliso in La Floresta becuase it is a safer neighbourhood and only 15 minutes to the airport. We found the best of both worlds at this lovely boutique hotel - it is a colonial house with lots of old world charm and we could... More

Casa Aliso was a truly fabulous B+B in a quiet and apparently safe area of Quito. We were collected from the airport by an English speaking driver which was superb after our long haul flight from the UK and ensured we made it to our destination (a lot of taxi drivers did not know where Casa Aliso was and it... All the wonderful reviews at Casa Aliso are on the mark. The B&B is located on a quiet street in a lovely residential neighborhood, yet still easily accessible from major attractions via taxi. Don Patricio was not only helpful and professional, his easy charm and friendly nature made you feel at home. He could not do enough to make sure... More

This is a fabulous B&B, run by a a small but dedicated staff who never stop smiling and are ever helpful. The rooms are simple, but of good size, and very very clean. The hot water can be tricky to get going, and we could not let the water out of our bath for some reason, but these are small... More

Comfortable former home dating approximately back to the 1920s. Manager and staff were very accomodating. Delicious breakfast with a good variety of choices. A lovely patio was included with our room. The manager served us cookies, hot chocolate and cocoa tea when we arrived. We returned from dinner to find a fire in the fireplace near a small library of... More

We stayed at Casa Aliso in the middle of our trip and again on our last night in Ecuador, and couldn't wait to get back. The rooms are lovely, beds comfortable, and the staff manage to get that perfect combination of a place that feels quite luxurious, but extremely relaxed and friendly. Tea and coffee are freely available all afternoon,... More

My mother and I just returned from a great trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. We stayed four nights in Casa Aliso and had a wonderful experience! Lovely decor, excellent service, and the staff provided great restaurant recommendations and happily handled requests for drivers, taxis, sightseeing tips, and more. There were delicious restaurants nearby (we especially liked Lo Nuestro and... More
