The more you pay for a room the more they nickel and dime you. You have to pay for internet, they charge you $6.00 US for a bottle of water. The taxis and tours are triple what you can get outside the hotel. The rooms are nice and comfortable but getting old. They need to change the courtains and the... more

During my stay at this hotel i discovered that Quito has some of the best hotels in Latin America. The service is great, the location is perfect, close to the old town and to the financial core, This hotel is amazing, from the building to the service. The pool and amenitties are great and Quito's wether is fabulous. more

We stayed here three times within a month on a pleasure trip to South America. Not only is it a lovely facility, the staff service was beyond outstanding. It is primarily oriented towards business travelers, but is used by Celebrity Cruises each weekend for their 90 passengers going to and from the Galapagos Islands, which was our situation. We then... more

I realize that service standards in Ecuador are different than those in the United States. Nonetheless, we were a little disappointed with our recent stay at the Marriott in Quito. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms nice and cozy, but...upon making my reservation, I had requested early check-in, a room on a high floor and extra pillows and towels. Upon... more

We (two seniors) spent six nights. Beautiful place. Very helpful staff. Terriffic room with big TV and expansive bath (separate shower, tub, and commode room). Hacienda restaurant (closed on weekends) was marvelous. We got senior and weekend discounts. Hilton Colon may have a better location but Marrriott is near some great restaurants and cabs are plentiful and cheap ( $3... more
