We arrived to Hostel Paredes late at night and were able to find it based on the previous review and a phone call to the manager as our bus arrived to town. The hostel is located a good walk away from the main square, but this is nice because it is on a quiet street. The manager is incredibly hospitable and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for better service from him. The hostel is very cheap at $5 a person. The rooms were spacious with 2 or more beds and we were able to get a private bathroom with warm water (if you didn't turn the handle all the way). There is a nice courtyard in the middle that one can relax in. The rooms are not cleaned until checkout, but the manager makes sure to give you clean towels, toilet paper, and soap every few days. We stayed in a room above the courtyard, but moved to the front of the building due to the fact that the bathroom smelled like sewage.
