Our hotel is located in a recently restored heritage building in the historic center of Cuenca. We offer 12 elegant guest rooms that invite you to enjoy your stay in Cuenca in a traditional environment at the most comfortable level. Each room has a private bath with modern installations. The Forum Hotel charm comes from the conservation of the original elements of the building. Those elements are mainly the two courtyards, adobe walls, wooden balconies and wrought iron elements, and traditional tiling. A classic living room with hand painted ceiling round up the picture, which recalls the old times. The guest rooms are more modern, inviting our guests to feel at home. Committed to preserving the environment, we use LED technology lighting, which significantly reduces our energy consumption.

We had a wonderful time in Cuenca which was, in part, due to this hotel. The location is perfect (tram stop is on the same block and the hotel is only two blocks from the main square). The hotel was spotless, beds were comfortable, shower was strong and hot, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was served quickly and included several options.

On the day I was leaving to go to the airport a presidential visit shut down all routes to the airport. Christina, who was running the hotel, took special measures to get me to the airport on time and safely! Santa Lucia was a very clean and professional hotel and I will definitely stay there on my next trip! Thank you!

Friendly staff and beautiful hotel with a great location! The staff was very flexible with me leaving bags before and after my check-in/out time. I also had a nice breakfast with fresh local food and drinks. The location is perfect for day trips and weekend stays.

Santa Lucia House - Forum is a great hotel in the heart of Cuenca, you could not pick a better spot to stay in the city. Main sights in the centre are just a short walk away and there are plenty of good eateries nearby. Me, my daughter and my wife stayed there for 2 nights and were welcomed by a very attentive and friendly staff. Our twin room had plenty of character and as it was situated in a different corner of a building than the other rooms, we had a full size salon in front of our room that had a piano, armchairs and everything. And as we had a canopy bed in our room, our daughter said that it's like we spend our night in a palace. :) Although the room was facing the street, it had good windows so it was quiet at night. And of course everything was clean and tidy. If you come by car then you have to consider that the parking is several blocks away and it might be even difficult to load/unload your luggage in front of the hotel because it's a very busy but narrow street. But it's a price you have to pay to stay in the centre. The breakfast area was also quite small - it accommodates guests from 3-4 rooms at a time but we always found a place to sit. Breakfast itself was plenty and tasty. So all in all a great experience and Santa Lucia House - Forum comes very recommended from our side.…

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Is a beautiful hotel. It’s small and quiet at night with the Central Park around the corner for food, drinks and entertainment. We stayed at the family suit for 3. The service was outstanding and loved talking to our waiter who provided awesome information about the area. We would love to come back!

A great hotel, made even better by the wonderful staff! In an older building with beautiful hardwoods, tile, and a traditional feel, we found our room to be well-appointed with all the latest conveniences, right in the heart of Cuenca. While the floors in the public spaces squeak in places, there can be.some street noise, and the WiFi can be a little slow, we found Santa Lucia House - Forum had everything we needed and more. The best part was the wonderful staff who were always went out of their way to be kind and helpful (especially Dominica and Darwin). The breakfast was more than we needed (and comes with second helpings if you want). We considered more expensive places but, in the end, we had our best stay for a very reasonable price here. We liked it so much that we initially booked for four nights but ended up staying for seven. We look forward to returning!…

The hotel was nice and is very well located. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice as well. However, the rooms are not well insulated and you can hear everything that happens in the hallway. Still, we had a nice stay!
