I had a private room here, but unfortunately there were no private bathrooms available. But I didn't stay here for the room, but the social atmosphere. The other guests were very affable, the owners were friendly and helpful, and it was easy to socialize with others. Though it's a bit further from the heart of downtown Cuenca than I might have preferred, it's not too long of a walk and you can always grab something to eat from the hostel's restaurant.
They also have lots of videos to watch and host occasional screenings for the general public as well.
