We stayed 2 nights before and after our colca canyon trek and regret not being able to stay longer. Behind the wall this hotel is a lovely garden oasis, complete with hammocks and a swimming pool. This little place is a really well maintained little hostel, well located in the tourist area of Arequipa. This hotel was our best! It even surpassed the Cuzco one at 145 $ a night. It was definitely worth more than we paid (54 USD per night). They were waiting for us at the airport for free and when we came back to take our departing flight they dropped us off there for 15 soles both. Bedrooms are clean but some of them need and update. We stayed here with our two kids, 18 and 20. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center, or a 5-minute cab ride. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful.
