We stayed in the new section of the hotel and had a nice room with two big comfortable beds. Probably the best beds of the trip. The staff was very nice. The hotel is located within walking distance of the main square, and within the city’s main attractions. The hotel is located in the center of town, walking distance from everywhere... It's a beautiful, relaxing, and clean place - and the staff is very friendly and helpful - especially the bellboys Julio Cesar (with the friendliest smile!) and Rufo - they were so helpful and friendly - we loved them - they seemed to read our minds... Wonderful service, excellent breakfast buffet, very nice clean rooms. The best part was the staff; the front desk did all they could to help us get around the city. They also were friendly, had good English skills. The hotel itself was the old mint and has many artifacts all over which made it looked like a museum. more

I recommend all Casa Andina Private Collection's hotels in Peru but this one in Arequipa is the best. The attention was the best ever received in any hotel and I travel a lot.
