We spent about 3 weeks in Cusco and at the beginning of our trip decided to find an apartment instead of a hostel/hotel. Cusco is a very difficult place to find an apartment especially if you do not speak Spanish (or very basic Spanish only). We came across Renacimiento and decided to walk there to see the apartments. We were greeted by Mrs. Mercedes who although does not speak much english is the nicest host we have ever had. The outside of the apartments is nothing special but you walk inside to a sweet little courtyard surrounded by about 8 apartments.

The apartment we rented was a one bedroom plus loft, the furniture is basic but comfortable, it was very clean upon arrival and they even switched the beds around for us (moving the double bed from the room to the loft). The value is unbeatable considering it includes hot water (very very needed!!), cable, computer access and fast wifi. We paid $12/person/night for 3 people in the apartment for 15 days...

Lovely colonial house, restaured by its owner.

The aparment had two rooms a living room and a small kitchen. Furnished according to the colonial style of the house, with an excellent taste.

Quiet, tranquil, and a very good deal!

The owner is a very nice lady, with a great service attitude.

The location of the hotel is also good, and very close to the train station to Macchu Pichu.

It is also close to the City Market, which we visited one morning, and it was really interesting. Hundreds of corns, cereals, sauces, I recommend the visit.
