Unbeknown to us there was a problem with our double room while we were on the inca trail. When we arrived the guys were worried but had reserved us a four bed dorm to ourselves. I thought this was great as other hostels wouldn't have done the same. And at discount price. Nice quite hostel.

Mama Simona surpassed my expectation as a hostel. Mama Simona is a quiet and clean place. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can cook and the breakfast is good You can take coffee or mate de coca all day. It's just a little bit cold when the weather is not good.

Great staff (and very helpful), very comfortable bedrooms, really hot shower. Everything is very clean. Good location in the city. Very quiet during the night, you can really rest after 4 days of Inca Trail. It's the best hostel I've ever stayed in!!!
