Just spent 2 days at the Hotel Picoaga, Cuzco. A very comfortable hotel in a charming cobbled street and only a short walk to the Plaza de Armas. Try the older Colonial part of the hotel with its high ceilings and amazing courtyard. For a great tour of the city take Le Tren....for about 15 solos you get an hour... more

Location was excellent! Walking distance to everything. We stayed in the Colonial (older section), which was real quiet. If you get a room on the street side, ask for a different room. Anthony was very helpful and spoke very good English. Breakfast was typical, it was included with the room. Try the local cereals (can't remember the names) with hot... more

We were a family of 5 adults, requiring 3 rooms. Selected this hotel based on reviews and found it outstanding. They upgraded our rooms on first end of stay, we took a trip to the Amazon and upon return we had our room upgraded to a large suite. Impeccable service, the bar staff stayed open after hours one evening and... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on part of our honeymoon and it was our favorite by far. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and most speak very good English. The rooms are very nice... e stayed in the older colonial section and although it is clearly older it is still very nice. The... more

I was greatly surprised with Picoaga Hotel, since our arrival to the airport the service was friendly and helpful; they went to pick us up and all the way to the hotel the driver was describing us the city and giving us good pointers of how we can get the most from our experience. Once in the Hotel the service... more

We were climbing at 17,000' in the Andes, and ended our trip early with one of our team in hospital, so came back to Cusco early. Having literally just walked by the Picoaga, we were attracted by the smartly uniformed doorman and the great view into the courtyard and fountain. On a whim, we walked in and booked rooms for... more

We got to visit the Picoaga Hotel twice. 2 nights before we went to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and 1 night when we returned. They looked after our main bags so we could travel light for 3 days to Machu Picchu. This was a great hotel in a brilliant location. It was a short walk from the main... more

I stayed at the Picoaga hotel in February for 4 nights. They had a promotion going where the 3rd night was free, so the room worked out to a little over $100 per night! This is a great price for a very decent hotel. The location is fantastic and is 1 block from Plaza De Armes. There are tons of... more

Very charming, extremely clean, cosy, well located and great services. This was the best choice we could have done. Best cost x benefit you could have in Cusco. more

One of the best things that happened to us on our trip to Peru was that our tour company made an error and the hotel we were originally supposed to stay in was overbooked. Luckily for us, the Picoaga Hotel was their only option, so we got moved here. Lucky for us! This really is a "hidden gem" of a... more
