When you stay at places like this, the staff is either really helpful (which is true of most small places) or they're just out to get as much money from you as possible. The staff here were the latter. Don't accept any wine at dinner, and definitely don't do the 3-day special, it WILL end up being much more than... more

we booked a couple of nights at casona les pleidas but they couldn't accomodate us for our first night in cusco so we went here instead. the manager sat and chatted with us about acclimitization as we sipped coca leaf tea and the staff made us feel very welcome. they did a terrific job of laundry service, though i think... more

Walked in and was able to get room. Stayed in room 402. Great service. Upon entering our room, hotel staff member brought us coca tea (leaves were fresh unlike prior places we had stayed at). Room reminded us of a condo, was very modern, had a mini-fridge which was nice for keeping our water bottles in, had hot water 24/7... more

This hotel is just steps off the Plaza Armas, very close to everything in Cusco. Little taxi's can drop you off at the door. Larger vehicles face a bit of a challenge making it up the narrow street. Yes, the clubs nearby rock the music until very early in the morning. I'd guess that all the hotels in the center... more

what a great little hotel in an excellent position - seconds from the beautiful square and lots of restaurants. staff were very helpful, booking a trip into the sacred valley and holding onto my luggage til my return from machu picchu. nothing was any trouble to the staff. great breakfast. more

We were already impressed by the location alone. Right off the Plaza Armas, very close to everything - restaurants, shops, sites, etc. I loved the authentic inca wall at the dining area (the hotel was a site of an inca nobleman's palace). The room we got had a balcony- so it faced the street. A novelty during the daytime, but... more

We did not have a reservation and showed up because of the location and good reviews. Everything that we read about this place was true. The people were really great and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were very clean with great views. The hotel is literally on the main plaza so it is a great location. The... more

booked through Go2Peru.com. The hotel is in a great location, right off the Plaza de Armes. The rates may be a little high compared to a hostel. Clean hotel and service is good, cocoa tea as soon as you arrive. English speaking manager who can help you make arrangements. Other reviews are right, it is noisy being next to a... more

We were looking for decent, clean hotel in a good location for our 3-night stay in Cuzco before heading to Aguas Calientes, and found the perfect place. We liked everything about this hotel - the location (right off the main square), the price ($100 upgraded to the master room w/ jacuzzi...though we never used it), and the people - all... more

We really liked this place. It's a nice location. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was very good. We liked a room that only had a twin bed and they rearranged for us by bringing a double bed in there. Our room was small but had a nice view. It was a bit overpriced (i think we paid $70 or $80)... more
