My wife and I stayed at Marani for nine days. The rooms were great, the staff was helpful and breakfast was great! Its a bit pricier than other hostals ( you get what you pay for) and they dont accept credit cards. Overall, a great place to stay. More

On my fourth visit to Cusco I stayed for the first time in hostal Marani and it immediately became my favorite. Why? Attentive staff; free transfer from the airport; best value for money; breakfast with fresh fruit and juice; only two blocks from the Plaza de Armas, in the middle of the artists' quarter; nice comfy and clean rooms with... We stayed in this Hostal for 6 nights (three on either side of a 4-day trek). The rooms were big, airy, and clean. the bathrooms were bright and clean with great showers. Wifi was great. the Court yard was pleasant. The staff was attentive with airport transport, taxi calls, and the like. Storing our bags while away was no hassle.... More

Great Hostal. We booked a matrimonial room which looked out on to a lovely little garden. We had hot water, good showers and clean and wonderful service upon arrival!!! Breakfasts are great and included and the staff are very friendly and helpul. Room 1 is massive matrimonial room with a fridge, TV, bath. Room 10 was a smaller matrimonial room... More

I moved here after my Lares Valley trek as I wanted some private space. The rooms are lovely and clean and they have a really nice courtyard to hang out in. I was a bit put out with some minor things like the fact that they wouldn't give you a mug for your coca tea (the first hostel in Peru... More

My husband and I walked all around Cusco one day, looking at hotels in person, and this one was by far the best for the price point. An amazing value for the money! We were in a HUGE, clean, airy matrimonial - a full-sized bed and a twin bed - big enough for 3, but with just the 2 of... More

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and we signed in over a complimentary cup of tea in the sunny terrace. We were originally given a downstairs room but they happily changed us to a room on the first floor when we asked. The rooms are comfy with local crafts. The showers are good and hot. They charge extra... More

The actual rooms and the hostal grounds were beyond what I had expected. I, like you, used trip advisor to help me plan my trip, and it served me well with Hostal Marani because I thought it was a very well kept and clean location (especially for $20 a night). They offer next day laundry service for a reasonable price,... More

Our group of 4 were looking for an inexpensive hostel to stay at in Cusco to acclimate before hiking the Inca Trail. The Hostel Marani was amazing. We found the hostel well run, clean, and in an awesome location. The staff helped us line up tours to the Sacred Valley and watched our luggage for us for the 5 days... More

Hotal Marani was our home before and after our Machu Picchu Trek. The accomodations were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great- imagine a mountain of hard boiled eggs! The location was perfect for getting ready for the trek- up and down the streets to get to the town's square to the Hostal. More
