I loved this hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a TV and everything. Everything was great except the bathrooms. The shower was broken it was late at night so I couldn't take a shower. Nice little hotel with an OK staff, but in a semi industrial area that seemed a little scary at night. After a certain time, they close a metal overhead door and cover the glass front doors. You have to be able to recognize the side door if you come in late. Beds were hard, but the room was clean. If... more

I am an employee at Explorica Educational travel (www.explorica.com) and had the opportunity to travel with a group to Peru. Our tour spent 4 nights at the Mabey Hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Cusco area. The hotel offers free internet access and coca tea in their comfortable lounge area near reception. Rooms are comfortable... more

Great hotel even though power went out one night and morning. Hotel refused our "paid voucher" from our travel agent so we had to pay again or they were going to block our passports. We also had to pay twice for our airline from Cusco to Lima as our tour company Rainbow Tours and Traveland did not pay that airfaire... more
