Location is perfect, only around 5 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas (with a huge array of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops just round the corner). Spent 2 nights at the hostel. Had private bathroom with super hot and powerful shower, double bed and TV with cable. I didn't try the breakfast as I was out early both days. Reception staff were friendly and always available. They also booked me a taxi to the airport which was there within minutes at around 5am (cost was 20 Peruvian Soles). Highly recommend this accommodation. Only paid 18USD per night, can't complain with that! Room was also tidied up and toilet roll replenished between the 2 nights, which I was surprised with for a short stay. Not sure if the hostel offers laundry service, but there are countless 2 & 4 hour services available nearby.…

Our group stayed at Teatro Inka Hostal three different times between different adventures (e.g., Inca Trail, Amazon rainforest, etc.) and the location can't be beat. The staff were very helpful and the price can't be beat. Each time we returned, it appeared as if improvements were made to the rooms, the common areas and the infrastructure, so know that there may be some light construction during your stay. The hostel is cozy and our group used the cafe and "family room" as areas for us to gather. I recommend this place if you are looking for a well-located, no-frills place to be comfortable, but realize that this not for guests seeking a full-service hotel experience.

I booked a couple of nights thru hotels.com and had an excellent rate. The location was good as it was not far from the main square. After a little more than 24hrs I received a message thru hotels.com stating that my booking had been canceled as my credit card could not be verified! This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I called up the call centre who called up the hotel but was not able to give me a satisfactory answer. The following day I called hotels.com again and insisted I speak with a Manager or Supervisor and this time was connected with a staff who was very empathetic and called the hotel again only to be told that they were over booked and so they had to cancel my reservation! This is just not the way it is normally done. When I tried a couple of booking sites, the hostel still had availability but at a far higher price. It was very obvious that this hotel did not want to honor the lower rate and hence cancelled my booking. This was a very frustrating experience and the first time it has ever happened to me! Properties with such a bad customer experience should be avoided at all costs.…

The hotel is quite nice although it gives off a bit of an "odd" smell - probably because of the carpet, but barely noticable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice (also has a hot water shower)

Good location in Cusco. The place is beautiful, beds are comfortable, room was clean. Adobe style walls and architecture gave the place a nice touch. Their check out time could be pushed to 11am. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate.

Good location for visiting Cusco's historic attractions and museums. Good breakfast. Laundry service by the kilo for a reasonable price so your clothes can be cleaned while you play. A little noisy from street noise and from guests who do not realize that you can hear them in your room when they are gathering in the common area.

Horrible. I cancelled my booking two weeks before arrival date. They charged my card and did not reply me when I asked about it. This is not right. This is fraud. It has been almost a week. I'm gonna have a hard time explaining to my credit card company. Come on!

This hotel has a crazy check out time of 9am, another bad thing is their bathroom, if you flush the toilet, you can not wash ur hand as no water coming out of the faucet, terrible! Shower is more on the hot side, not enough cold water to balance it. Location wise is good, administration side is more on wanting to get commission as one review have stated. If you ask some places, they tell you they have a travel agency to cater to your needs. Room is ok, but that's it, I still want my shower!

Very clean and organised hotel. Smallish rooms but very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Cleaned daily. Wifi was good, 12soles for buffet breakfast, tasty and enough. They let us have the room for the day till 8pm for half price while we waited for our night bus. Very happy with this hotel and price.

We stayed here for two nights before starting the Salkantay Trek and we really enjoyed it! There were four of us, so we were able to secure a private room with four beds and a private bath. All of the linens were very clean, great community spaces all throughout the establishment, delicious breakfasts (amazing coffee!), and self serve coca tea round the clock. The front desk attendants were super helpful with suggestions for things to do around town and were very accommodating as we had several others from our group meeting us there (who weren't staying in the hostel) several times per day.
