My husband and I spent four nights at the San Pedro Lodge in February 2013. We had the most amazing time - from wonderful guided day trips to the home cooked meals at night, from watching the locals play a soccer match to listening to a rainy season thunderstorm roll in overnight. Gart and his staff made us feel welcome... More

I booked San Pedro Lodge via the website. Mr. Gart was very prompt with the email replies- and I even phoned a couple days before my trip to reconfirm. Sure enough I was greeted at Iquitos Airport and then we went on a taxi to the nearby boat dock to take the small boat to San Pedro. The location is... More

After arrival at Iquitos airport, they picked up and took us to San Pedro by car & boat approx. in 1.5hours.... More

I booked a one night stay at the lodge for Nov 27, 2012, however due to some circumstances I could not make it to the lodge. I called Gart and let him know that I won't be coming. I expected that I still would be charged for one-night as I cancelled my reservation too late. But instead, Gart told me... More

We struggled with going to Brazil or Peru to see the Amazon and then stumbled across San Pedro and its great reviews. We decided to give it a try and glad we did. We had showers, flushing toilets, stunning views, lushness, and great hospitality. We did some day trips from San Pedro which we enjoyed along with seeing the local... More
