I have stayed here several times with humanitarian groups. Because it is close to Iquitos wildlife is really non existent with the exception of a troop of monkeys that pass through to eat the hanging bananas. During the dry season it is usually unreachable by boat necessitating a hike from the nearby village. Weekends can be lively in the village... more

Brilliant for something a bit different, no electricity and only cold water! go to bed with your gas lamp. The lodge has own guides who meet you from the plane and look after you for the rest of your stay, very informative.
