Hotel Acosta is conveniently located near the main square in Iquitos. I stayed only one night as a stop over to the Amazon. The room was clean (had a mini bar and TV w/ CNN news) and a full breakfast was included in the price. My room also had a balcony which was a nice surprise, but it over looked... more

This is an OK place ... clean enough. The breakfast wasn't exactly appealing, but the food was OK and safe to eat. Some of the staff were very helpful; others seemed like they didn't really care. The area is safe and the lobby has a computer so guests can access the internet (for a relatively high fee). This hotel offers... more

On my November trip to Iquitos, I stayed at the Hotel Acosta for 5 nights and got a much better feel for the place. Surprisingly, my regard for this small hotel rose after spending more time here.
