This place reminded me of a kids camp, but I did like it! I'm a picky person who usually stays in 4-5* hotels and I didn't mind this place. I would say it is like a 3* hotel, but what would you expect in the amazon? (they should probably remove 'luxury' from their name) The rooms are basic, but are... More

Loved everything about this place! They have fabulous food--3 meals a day, and keep you busy with activities like Piranha fishing, Canopy walks, Jungle walks, visiting local Indian tribes, and much more. The staff are very nice and friendly and knowledgeable. There is wifi in the lodge. More

I loved riding along the Amazon River to reach this hotel. The place is nestled into the rain forest. Huts are scattered along winding wooden walkways that curve through flowers and trees. The AC worked great. The beds were comfy. The shower was a walk-in and big enough for two people in our room. The guide took us piranha fishing,... More

This was a great place to stay for those who want to experience the Amazon, but would rather not "rough it" to much. The Amazon is humid and uncomfortable. I was born and bred in a tropical climate and still found it uncomfortably hot. It was great to return to a nice air-conditioned room each day and it makes sleeping... More

We had had a crazy holiday and went for a few days over at ceiba tops. After leaving here we can barely even remember the other crazy things that had happened beforehand. For us lying by the pool relaxing having a beer in down town was great. The most amazing was pirahna fishing, visit to monkey island, night and day... More

This place was very nice. Perfect for those who want to get close to the Amazon, but not stay entirely in it. Of course we wanted to stay deep in the Amazon, so we just used Ceiba Tops as a transition place to recharge our batteries for one night before and after our stay in their other Explorama Lodges deeper... I just returned from four days at Ceiba Tops. It was a great experience-especially our guide, Percy. We had some great experiences and although the trip wasn't cheap, this lodge is worth the extra you pay for the air conditioning and little extras that add comfort. Excellent service to the airport and help checking in from another Explorama guide! More

Very basic room with limited comforts. Air conditioner kept the room comfortable, but ran constantly to do so. Amazing environment. Great swimming pool. Plentiful food but largely unimaginative preparation..they sprayed the room daily to keep insects & pests away. Remarkable experience in a very different part of the world. More

I like to travel in comfort. Having said that, I also want adventure and new experiences. After 10 days in Peru, I wasn't sure the four days in the Amazon would be more amazing than the sights I'd already seen--and yet they were. These accommodations were phenomenal, particularly considering the challenges of life in the Amazon. There were no disappointments,... More
