There are bathrooms where they park the bus, use them before you get on the boat…the boats do not have them. The boats are covered and... more

We stayed at Explorama, ExplorNapo & Ceiba Tops in July 2008. Right from our arrival in Iquitos, we were in awe of our surroundings. The open air feel of our accommodations in the Amazon Rain Forest, while listening at night to the jungle sounds, was capsulated by our feeling of security under the mosquito net; however, we saw very few... more

We chose the piranha fishing, the canopy walkway, and the pink dolphin boat excursion. All met our expecations and were fun and very unique experiences. I would definately recomend staying... more

Explorama Lodges are the "home of my heart" in Peru; the rainforest is simply magical, and the accommodations here are very much in keeping. This was my second trip here, and this time I stayed in Explorama and Explornapo Lodges, plus a night in the Explortambos camp and ended in the luxury of Ceiba Tops. The lodges are open to... more
