I stayed here for a night and found it ideal for getting to know the center of Iquitos. The location couldn't be better for the boulevard and the main square. I stayed at El Colibri every time I came back to Iquitos during my one-year stay in Loreto and it became became my second home. Very central location means some noise - but that's Iquitos! Great value for money. I couldn't recommend it more. more

This is one of those great backpacker hostals ($12 a night) that you hope to find when on the road. It is centrally located but set far-enough off the main street that is also quiet and relaxing.
