I have traveled the world as a backpacker and I warn all of you. This place is very NOISY due to traffic noise and paper-thin walls. I could hear all the conversations from other rooms and was woken up by another room's "wake-up" call at 3am. And it is a very BORING hostel where the owner discourages you from going... more

We stayed four nights at the Miraflores House, and while we never met its owner, Francis, the staff there were tremendously helpful (although it helps to know some Spanish).
