I am a business traveler and I stayed in the villa for 2 weeks. I am always looking for a nice, worm place to stay and avoid the hustle of the big hotels. Harry was always there for me anytime I needed something, from taxi to the bank etc... (since i dont speak spanish) the veranda is a beautiful place... More

I had a wonderful stay at this amazing Vila. Those who love architecture will appreciate this Frank Loyd Wright like design. Very open, very spacious, and lots of wonderful hidden rooms and features. The Villa is about a 15 minutes walk from the Center, and I found it to be a plus. The food in Lima is so good, that... More

Harry, the owner, is very kind, though intense. The car he arranged from the airport was not fit to be on the road and stunk of petrol - made us all ill. He helped arrange trips around Lima, but was drunk and under the influence of cannabis some evenings - not great in front of the children. The rooms are... More

My collegue and I arrived at 1 am from Mexico City, the owner was very welcoming at our arrival; the rooms were pretty spacious and clean and the hotel had a very good vibe and ambiance. Breakfast pretty good as it was a home-made breakfast. The owner "Harry" and its staff were always open to help with recomendations and guidance.... More

We arrived by plane @ 1:00 A.M. & Harry (the owner) had arranged (in previous e.mails) for an affordable taxi to meet us @ the airport in Lima. The taxi driver was there waiting for us, sign in hand. He was soft spoken, kind, & drove carefully to Villa Ponciana. It took us about 20-25 min. to get to the... More

We found this hotel at the last minute on the Trip Advisor website and we got lucky! This is a small hotel which gives it a very personal feel - Harry's guidance and local knowledge was perfect to ensure we got the most out of our day in Lima. The breakfast was excellent. On arrival we found the rooms a... More

The place has seen better days and needs to be refurbished. The room we were provided was musty. My husband walked into the kitchen and the place was a mess with food on the table and on the floor. More

The first opinion of the agency this guest contracted, starts: "...piece of the best architecture from the early 70's … remodeled completely in 2005..." Her reservation was in August 2010 and she arrived here in October 2010, enough time to check her bank account. We had to accept against our will because, our usual practice, “her statement that she had... More

I flew to from Los Angeles to Lima with my family (their first time to Peru, my third) for my wedding. I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. This hotel was PERFECT. Not only did Harry (the owner) help keep my family busy while I prepared everything for the big day, he recommended venders for my cake and flowers. He... More

We stayed at the hotel twice in April - once when we flew into Lima - for a few days, and then back from our trip up North to Iquitos. Coming back the second time was like coming home. Our young kids felt secure and very much at home. The atmosphere was very welcoming, breakfast was excellent, the location was... More
