We booked three beds in a six bed dorm so we'd have a place to put our stuff and to catch a shower while waiting for our 12:30am flight home. The room was clean and we got a great hot shower, but the staff shoved us into an eight bed dorm even though I showed them my e-mail reservation booking three beds in a six bed dorm. Then they not only charged us the same price per bed as a six bed dorm but ignored the down payment I had made over hostels.com and insisted I pay the full amount in dollars. At this point they (conveniently) didn't have any change, so I ended up paying $40 for three beds in an eight-bed dorm instead of $29.70 for the three beds in a six bed dorm I'd booked over the internet. The shared shower is clean and has warm water and the beds seem nice, but don't trust these people farther than you can throw them; they'll pull every trick they can think of to milk you for every dime you've got. more
