The Melia has two disadvantages the location and no free Internet in the room, only in the lobby, everything else is very good. Good room, great service, good breakfast. It is was located in the Miraflores it would be by far one of the best hotels in Lima. more

The Melia is in a rather odd location between the main districts of tourist interest. However, it is quiet, clean, modern and well appointed. You can reach the historic downtown area in 30 minutes by cab in traffic (much quicker on a Sunday) and the Miraflores district is even closer. This is a very nice hotel; clean, modern, comfortable. It is an excellent choice for a Lima overnight layover on the way to Cusco, being that it is fairly close to the airport. For a lengthier stay, not sure I'd recommend it, as the area is not the nicest. more
